We don’t usually hear 21 Savage on his political shit, but he’s doing so in his new video for “Nothing New.” The ISSA album track starts with footage of Colin Kaepernick and LeBron James talking about the recent controversy surrounding President Donald Trump the protests in the NFL, before showing 21 standing in the rain. Obviously, the record has a somber feel to it and the clip depicts the reality people live with today. Police brutality is still a subject too close to home and the message has been drowned in the midst of the protests and respecting the flag. This is 21 Savage’s way of raising awareness to the issue again.
