50 Cent on Possible Retirement after ‘Street King Immortal’ Album

Guess who’s back….

Since the release of his Animal Ambition album, 50 Cent has put focus to his premium cable series, POWER. While the show hasn’t receiving recognition ever from the Golden Globe Awards, he opened up with Muscle & Fitness about gaining respect from the public – and not critics.

With his Black Mafia Family series set to air on the network potentially within the next 24 months, his focus is continuing to generate the highest ratings on Starz for original programming. However, before he transitions to becoming a full-time executive, he still has to bless listeners with the long-delayed Street Immortal Album, dating all the way back to 2011.

Fifty went to say, “I want to finish with that project. I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in fucking 35, 40 million albums that I already sold.” While he didn’t say he would flat out stop recording music, it’s safe to say that his last days in the booth are imminent.
