Azekel is back with the release of his new single “Pyramids & Starships,” taken from the mental health chapter of his debut album, Our Father.
“’Pyramids & Starships’ is inspired by a mixture of my personal experience with depression, doubt and repressed memories,” he says. “Talking about this was something of a taboo when I was growing up, and still has always been something difficult to speak about, but it’s easier to communicate through music. In fact, it’s liberating.”
Our Father is made up of three chapters and will be released in full on May 11th.
