Three year’s ago, legendary Atlanta rapper Big Boi and Upstate New York electronic rock duo Phantogram made waves with their stellar collaborations on Big Boi’s 2012 album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Since, fans have been asking for them to do more music together, which led to the 2015 formation of Big Grams. The hip-hop trio made a stop at The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show, The Breakfast Club to promote their freshly released self-titled debut album yesterday.
During the discussion, they spoke with Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee about their formation and the origin of how it all came together, what to expect when listening to their project, putting his solo album on hold to work on the collaborative project with Sarah and Josh, projects they have planned for the future, whether or not we’ll be seeing a OutKast biopic and album and much more.
