Earlier this morning, Bobby Shmurda was officially sentenced to seven years in prison during a hearing at Manhattan Supreme Court. “I was forced to take this sentence, I did not want to take this sentence, I was forced by my attorney to take this plea,” Shmurda said in court, after accepting a plea to plead guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession, and in return serve seven years behind bars. Based on time already served, he could be free by 2021.
News recently surfaced that Bobby Shmurda took a longer sentence, in order for Rowdy Rebel to serve less time.
