Casanova Blames Himself for Taxstone’s Irving Plaza Visit on The Breakfast Club

Cas 2X stops by The Breakfast Club

Last weekend, Casanova rolled out his official debut mixtape, Be Safe Tho – in tribute to his incarcerated friend Taxtone. The project, which features Chris Brown, serves as an introduction, as JAY Z and Memphis Bleek have decided to help pioneer their first Roc Nation subsidiary imprint.

Earlier today, he stopped by The Breakfast Club, to give a run-down of his life story in the streets and only recently becoming a rapper last year. Before turning his life around, he touched on being locked up for 7 years, including meeting A$AP Rocky at one point behind bars.

Years later, after the Harlem M.O.B. blew up, Rocky re-introduced himself to Cas, which the Brooklyn rapper didn’t recognize him – after knowing of his music moniker for years.

Watch more from the conversation, as he talks about taking blame bringing Taxstone to Irving Plaza in 2016; plus previous real friendship with Troy Ave’s deceased bodyguard, Banga.
