Dan Caplen is an artist on the rise. The London singer has teamed up with Ray BLK on “Flat Champagne,” his feel-good new single about living and making things work in the big city. “The rent’s late, always, but we don’t talk about it,” he sings on the track. “Up late, most days, living off the night before.”
“You move to the big city thinking that things are going to happen instantly, but it rarely turns out like that,” Caplen says. “You’ve got to keep plugging away until someone listens. And in the meantime, you can still have fun without any money!”
“Flat Champagne” is Caplen’s debut single on Major Toms, Rudimental’s Atlantic Records imprint.
