NEW YORK STAND UP!
There are nothing but good news from the Dave East side of things. He was on The Breakfast Club this morning to announce his new deal with Def Jam. He isn’t quite signed to the label straight up, according to him, it’s a joint venture. He said Mass Appeal is still the family and Nas will be executive producing the next album.
On his upcoming Kairi Chanel album (out this Friday), he is still doing things on the dolo and will feature the likes of 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Cam’ron and The Game. In the interview, he explains how the new deal came about, how his daughter changed his perspective, how he met Nas, how the new New York movement is taking over and being involved in beef that he wasn’t really a part of.
