More Life…More Blessings…One delay.

Outside of the recent projects that released these past few weeks – and the weeks to come, Drake‘s new album More Life was one of the most highly-anticipated projects out of the bunch that was expected to release in December. Unfortunately, the Toronto rapper will not be dropping the album until early 2017. Drake’s manager Oliver El-Khatib announced the news earlier tonight on the latest episode of OVO Sound Radio, revealing that Drake’s new album will drop “at the the top of 2017.”

Good thing is that we won’t have to wait much longer with the new year right around the corner. But for music fans who were excited to hear new albums from J. Cole, CJ Fly, Ab-Soul, Charles Hamilton and many others in the same month are now disappointed to have to wait a little longer than expected. The music Gods usually look out, but we should have known it was too good to be true.

The sad news comes just days after latest album VIEWS reached quadruple platinum status. Let’s be hopeful that Drizzy will release another single to make the waiting process a little easier.
