The legacy of Nipsey Hussle will continue even past his death.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the family will continue what Nip has started through the Neighborhood Nip Foundation, which will extend his effort in the community. The foundation will create opportunities for young folks to live out their dreams in music, much like Nip did through the Watts Towers program.
Atlantic Records (the distributor of his All Money in label) donated six figures to the foundation.
Hussle’s brother said this about the news:
“We used to talk a lot about [what the Watts Towers program] meant to him. A push, a little help can go a long way, and that’s what this foundation will 100% be about. The foundation will be aligned with everything Nip believed in and what helped him.”
