Just Blaze Takes Over Q-Tip’s Abstract Radio, Plays Unreleased Songs

If your Friday night usually involves tuning into Q-Tip‘s Abstract Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1, then heard and enjoyed one hell of an event on last night’s latest episode. If you just so happened to pick this one night to miss it, it sucks for you, but we got you covered! Last night (December 11), Just Blaze took over the show as the special guest mixer and he treated those who tuned in with a two-hour mix, that included plenty of classics that he produced for Fabolous, The Game, JAY Z, Eminem, and more.

That’s not the good part. Just Blaze also unleashed a slew of unreleased versions of songs that included the previously reported The Black Album version of “Early This Morning” by JAY Z, Usher‘s “Throwback” with Rico Love, Joe Budden‘s “Pump It Up” with a verse from Busta Rhymes, Kanye West‘s “Touch The Sky” with Robert Glasper, an alternate version of Freeway‘s “Flipside,” Rick Ross‘ “Lord Knows” verse over the “Computer Love” beat and also a Juelz Santana and Jim Jones featured “I Really Mean It” with Cam’ron.

This all comes after the New Jersey producer went through a stash of his old hard drives earlier this week. We hope Justin Blaze gives us more of these unreleased gems in the near future. Maybe even a mixtape or some new episode of Just Blaze TV for old times sake.
