If you’re familiar with DJ Scoob Doo, then you know just how fast can whip together some footage in superb fashion and deliver it in a timely manner. A few years ago, the New York filmmaker was on hand for many of Max B‘s most infamous moments, some of which were presented to us through impromptu music videos, studio sessions and many other ways that captured the wave.
While he’s shot tons of footage of the Wave God before he was unfortunately arrested in 2007 and sentenced to 75 years in prison, not all of it has been presented to the viewers. With the recent events that took place yesterday between Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West‘s album name change to “Waves,” of course Biggavelli’s name was brought up.
That has brought Scoob Doo back out to put together this upcoming documentary titled Waves. In the first teaser footage of the doc, we watch Max in his vintage form, hitting the studio and recording music as well as going through it with one of his many female companions over the phone.
This is just a little taste of what’s to come. The full documentary is expected to release next month on February 11th.
