As you all may have heard, Young Thug has a new project releasing Friday, August 26. With that comes a name change from the Atlanta rapper, who will now go by his government name Jeffery – as long as his does 100k in the first week. An aspiring East Memphis rapper by the name idontknowjeffery has decided to use this time to promote his own music and he does so by releasing a new project titled Young Thug.
It marks his third project in a years time, with the latest coming just two months ago. We didn’t give Young Thug a full listen, but after scrolling through a few of the tracks, some of them sound like they were recorded in low quality. There’s a few knocking tracks on there and he definitely has the sound of a Memphis rapper as he uses his slow flow to take on each track.
