Following her Grammy nominated single “Beautiful Surprise” for Best R&B Song at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, which was taken taken from her 2012 album of the same name, Tamia had been on the road promoting the album with the Beautiful Tour and Beautiful Surpise Tour (South Africa).
She has since signed to Def Jam Recordings where she announced she would be releasing her six studio album Love Life. The album was led with the impressive and acclaimed “Sandwich and a Soda” single, produced by Pop & Oak, with the just as amazing Polow Da Don produced “Stuck With Me” arriving just last month.
Sticking to her planned June 9th release date, the Canadian singer-songwriter has released her new album Love Life upon us today and it comes with 11 new tracks of that Tamia explains is, “about loving life and about love lives. There are a lot of songs that are love songs, but it’s just a happy album. It’s not as deep and dark as some of my past albums; it’s in a better place.
