Blame the homie Irv!
With original Roc-a-Fella members reflecting on the 20th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, Kareem Burke spoke to VladTV on a big moment for his label’s history. During 2001, at the peak of the Jay-Z and Nas rap war, Biggs touched on how he wanted Jigga to record a verse on “The Bridge is Over.”
Soon after, on a brainstorming drive home from the infamous Baseline Studios with Hip-Hop, Kareem came up with the plan for his guy to rap over the classic beat from B.D.P.
