Adam Silver Responds to JAY-Z’s Criticism of Racism in the NBA

Here’s what Adam thinks about Shawn’s comments

Last month, JAY-Z was guest on CNN for a special interview with political commentator, Van Jones. While on promotion for his 4:44 music album at the GRAMMYs, Jay dove into racism in sports.

After discussing the Colin Kaepernick and NFL saga, Jigga addressed the firing of Donald Sterling for his racist comments. Jay felt that most owners (not named Mark Cuban) would go extra lengths to hide their racist feelings, after witnessing Sterling lose his LA Clippers franchise to the league.

Well, Commissioner Silver was guest this week on CNN to explain why he stood by the move, including dealing with the punishment in a public matter. Take a look at the conversation below.
