It was a good game in Miami as the Heat took on the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves in the 305 where things got nail biting before regulation.
With the Wolves up two points, Andrew Wiggins had the rock in his hands and took it straight to the rack. His victim? Josh Richardson, who couldn’t do a damn thing for that monster slam. This came with less than a minute left in the game and put Minnesota up two.
Unfortunately, they could not close it out and the game went into overtime.
And guess what happened then? A-Wig made Justice Winslow look silly. The only difference was that he didn’t put the ball through the hoop in OT.
Wiggins finished the game with 22 points and 7 rebounds, while Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds and Jeff Teague had 23 points and 11 assists. Jimmy Butler also added 16 points.
The Heat were without Hassan Whiteside, who is nursing with a knee injury. Dion Waiters dropped 33 points for Miami, though.
