Bradon Ingram Elevates For Huge Slam Against Pelicans’ Cheick Diallo

Remember when D’Angelo Russell hit that game winner for his grandma and the Los Angeles Lakers kept winning games? That streak continued against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight, who played without their stars Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. The baby Lake Show came away with the win for their last home game of the season and it was Brandon Ingram who walked away with one of the highlights of the night.

With time winding down in the end of the 3rd quarter and the Lakers up nine points, Ingram took the ball from the half court mark all the way to the hole with a vicious dunk.

He literally took the screen, switched directions at the top of the key and flushed it down on Cheick Diallo. Not to mention the rookie taunted him immediately after the posterization. The Lakers bench and crowd went absolutely bezerk after that play.

When Metta World Peace dropped 18 points for what could be his final game too.

Ingram finished the game with 15 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, while World Peace led all Los Angeles scorers with 18 points, 4 steals and 4 rebounds. Young David Nwaba also scored 14 points off the bench for the Lakers.

With the Phoenix Suns loss and this win, Los Angeles has secured the third worst record in the league and now need to leave it to the ping pong balls and basketball gods for good fortune.

FINAL: LAL 108 | NO 96
