Dana White Speaks on Ronda Rousey’s Future

Be safe, though

Earlier today, UFC President Dana White was guest on the company’s Unfiltered Podcast. During his conversation with Dennis Bermudez, the two opened up on the future of Ronda Rousey with their MMA brand. To no surprise, Dana flat out said that he doesn’t expect her to return to the ring, following a consecutive first-round knockout loss in the octagon.

He soon stated, “Her spirits are good and she’s doing her own thing. In the conversation, I had with her, if I had to say right here, right now — and I don’t like saying right here, right now because it’s up to her, it’s her thing — but I wouldn’t say she fights again. I think she’s probably done. I think she’s going to ride off in the sunset and start living her life outside of fighting.”

While the former queen of the ring is yet to conduct a public interview after her fight with Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 last holiday, we’re assuming she’ll immediately pursue a film career – and even sports entertainment with Vince McMahon’s WWE product.
