ESPN & Netflix Team Up for 10-Part Michael Jordan Documentary Series

With the talk of LeBron James being the greatest of all time, a new documentary from ESPN and Netflix will remind everyone of the greatness that is Michael Jordan over the span of 10 hours.

According to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, MJ has signed off on The Last Dance, a new film from 30 for 30, which will be released in 2019 and be a 10-part series. Filmmakers have gathered about 500 hours of unseen footage to put together this film, with interviews close to Jordan himself and those who lived out his championship runs with him. Expect it to chronicle his rise in the NBA and the culture surrounding his three-peat titles. Michael will be interviewed for the doc, as well.

It’ll be interesting to see how much of the story they tell and if things like the death of his father, his gambling habits and retiring to play baseball will appear.
