Isaiah Thomas Finally Forgives Danny Ainge for Trading Him

There has been a lot of chatter surrounding Isaiah Thomas this week, mostly because he made his Cleveland Cavaliers debut and was facing the Boston Celtics in the same week. Though he’s not playing in tonight’s game at TD Garden, there still were some story lines going into the match.

For one, the C’s sit atop of the Eastern Conference. Also, how would the fans embrace IT in his return to Boston? He asked the team not to pay tribute to him before the game, but it would still be an emotional night for him.

Most interestingly, he revealed that Danny Ainge has been forgiven for shipping him on a one-way ticket to Cleveland in exchange for Kyrie Irving. Apparently, he texted him last night and everything was hashed out. The only thing Thomas is mad about is the fact he didn’t receive a Christmas card this year.

He had nothing but good words for the coaching staff, players and the city of Boston. He even admitted that he watches the Celtics on TV a lot.

Also, away from the cameras, the two met and embraced before the game.
