John Wall Agrees to 4-Year Supermax Deal with Washington Wizards

Wiz now just need to find a front court. . .

With the Eastern Conference set to see a huge shakeup with the exits of more superstars, the Washington Wizards have become one of the most feared teams in the NBA.

Friday night, the Wiz made statement, inking John Wall to a new four-year $170 million extension. The deal, which is set to begin in 2019, includes a fourth-year player option, making the offer a super-max deal. Just weeks leading up to this move, the team inked Bradley Beal and Otto Porter Jr. to max deals as well, ensuring they’ll keep their young back-court core together.

Team owner, Ted Leonsis stated that the team is looking to build and commit to a championship contender and are willing to pay the luxury tax – given their recent money spending this summer. Take a look at Wall making the official announcement below with UNINTERRUPTED.
