Karl-Anthony Towns Issues Warning To Rest of NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been a losing franchise for a good part of the decade. But things are looking up for the young squad. They just hired Tom Thibodeau as head coach, the core consists of future All-Stars like Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns, then scored big in the NBA Draft by picking up Kris Dunn.

It’s safe to say the Wolves will be in the playoffs within the next two years, if not this year. Even though Kevin Garnett is the veteran leader on the team, Towns is stepping up to the plate and giving the NBA a warning shot about the culture they’re building.

In an interview with Twin Cities, Karl-Anthony says he now calls Minnesota home and wants to spend the rest of his career in a Timberwolves jersey.

“We’re concocting a plan to be the best Timberwolves team that’s come around in a long time.

“A lot of people tend to think that we’re the Timberwolves, and we’re at the bottom of the barrel. I just want everyone to know that we’re coming. Just remember us, remember who we were for the last 13 years, because things are about to change.”

In other news, KAT is out here dunking on kids too.
