Though he just joined the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard has been a sneaker free agent since the summer when he turned down an extension from Jordan Brand.
After getting acclimated with his new team and city in Canada, he has now decided to ink a new sneaker deal and he has chosen New Balance as his sponsor. According to Yahoo Sports, he will be the face of New Balance Basketball in a multi-year endorsement contract worth a reported $5 million a year, the same amount he turned down from Jordan earlier this year.
As of now, he’s the biggest name for the company.
