Inglewood's own: The Truth.
— LA Clippers (@LAClippers) May 11, 2017
After 19 years in the NBA, Paul Pierce is walking away from the game. He retired at the end of this past season, unfortunately, after being bounced out of the playoffs by the Utah Jazz in Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Not the way he wanted to go out, but like he said, not every story has a happy ending.
The Los Angeles Clippers are bidding farewell to the future Hall-of-Famer with a ‘Thank You’ video that is representing for his Inglewood, CA roots and is narrated by Kendrick Lamar.
As you probably already know, The Truth went to Inglewood High School and whether he was in Boston with the Celtics or the University of Kansas, still came back home to represent. Regardless of where he was at, L.A. still has his heart and the city will always thank him.
One time for Paul.
