We all love the shit talking that goes on back and forth from NBA players across the league, but we get a feeling these comments by Kevin Durant aren’t going to be too funny to most people. Especially those who already think the league is rigged.
In a talk on C.J. McCollum‘s podcast Pull Up, KD laughed at him for thinking the Portland TrailBlazers actually had a chance to win the NBA championship next season. The two were talking about how DeMarcus Cousins signed with them and how C.J. was just as mad as when Durant joined the Warriors because shit in the Western Conference just isn’t fair anymore.
WHY YOU MAD ABOUT THIS STUFF?!
“You know you’re not going to win a championship. I mean, let’s be honest. But come on. You can’t be upset about this….get out your feelings yo. You wanted [Boogie] to come to Portland?
I suggest you just keep playing and don’t worry about what goes on at the top of things.
But how did you play? Like an 8th seed”
The roasting is actually quite funny, but it seems like all of that winning has gone to Durant’s head a little bit. Those rings have him oozing confidence now.
