Klay Thompson Responds to LaMarcus Aldridge Throwing Warriors Shade

Splash Bro. Klay talks with FS1

Earlier this week, LaMarcus Aldridge felt a little disgruntled with not being selected to the NBA All-Star Game. In a conversation with The Vertical, he said “I’m older, so I’m not going to come home and be mad or anything. But I do think that it was wrong for Golden State to have four All-Stars and we’re a few games behind and only have one. It is what it is. I’m in this position.”

Well, after tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic, the 31-year-old star plans to fly directly to Cabo San Lucas and take a mid-season vacation. While it wasn’t a direct shot at members of Warriors, the shade was there, as we respect Aldridge for believing his San Antonio Spurs deserve more credit (see: injuries) for being four games behind the superstar collective in the Bay Area.

Yesterday, Klay Thompson was on Fox Sports 1 to discuss the season his Warriors are enduring – including adjusting to Kevin Durant’s arrival to the team. Before ending the conversation, he took a brief moment to respond back to Aldridge’s claims of why the Warriors shouldn’t be the only team with multiple players on the stage. We’re sure this will be in the back of their heads on March 11th, when Golden State looks to avenge their opening night 29-point blowout loss.
