Fitz gives love to his former Wade county player
Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. While talks have been centered around LeBron James taking off the night to rest his body, his former assistant-coach, David Fizdale, spoke on their time together with the Miami Heat. Fitz praised LeBron’s work ethic and said he’s a one-percentile guy, when it comes to basketball intelligence.
However, one reporter asked David if he thought the King would ever consider a head coaching job after his career is over. Fitz immediately said no – citing how James would kill somebody if something wasn’t perfect for a game plan. He does believe LeBron will eventually own an NBA team down the line; but said perfection is his standard and day-to-day operations around teammates wouldn’t transition that well to his expectations on the sidelines.
