LeBron James vs. Big Baller Brand!
Two weeks ago, when LeBron James was on the verge of losing homecourt in the eastern conference, he took time out his schedule to respond to some comments made by LaVar Ball. While Big Baller Ball didn’t back down from the request of King James, sticking to his words of saying basketball superstar’s kids never have success in the NBA.
Well, LeBron shied away from keeping their rift active, and opted to mock the shooting motion of his son and former UCLA star, Lonzo Ball. This week, on ESPN’s The Jump, the pending lottery pick player was guest and gave some subtle shade James. While reiterating LeBron is his favorite basketball player of all time, he felt humbled for James to re-enact his shot in in warm ups.
However, he was essentially saying, “He’s shooting like me, I’m not shooting like him” – referring to LeBron still having no shot after 14 years of NBA play. As Lonzo gets ready to be selected most likely by the Los Angeles Lakers, we’re sure the King will be penciling his yearly meeting against Ball for the 2018 season.
