Michael Porter Jr. Signs Shoe Deal with PUMA

It’s been quite the week for PUMA. Not only did they resurrect their basketball division and named JAY Z as director, but they also locked in deals with some of the biggest prospects coming out of this NBA Draft. And they just inked a multi-year contract with one of the highest up-side players in the class.

According to Darren Rovell, Michael Porter will join PUMA Basketball and the likes of Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III and Zhaire Smith.

Porter Jr. missed most of his freshman year at Missouri with a back injury, which could see him slide in the NBA Draft on Thursday. He did not workout with teams but did give some his medical records ahead of the draft.

MPJ is touted as one of the best prospects coming out of the 2018 class, if he stays healthy and plays like he did coming out of high school.

If he can live up to that potential, PUMA certainly locked in a star.
