Tonight, Paul George was making his return to Indiana in a different uniform after playing his entire his whole career with the Pacers. The visiting Oklahoma City Thunder were in town and are trying to get back to the winning ways that they are expected to be at when they acquired PG13 and Carmelo Anthony in the offseason.
Pacers fans happened to boo George during player introductions and when he touched the ball on the court and it seems like it affected him.
He didn’t have a good game, having multiple turnovers and only scoring 12 points in the game. He shot an atrocious 3/14 from the field.
But guess who got the win? The Thunder.
PG13 scored the last two free throws to seal the game and give OKC the victory. Russell Westbrook and ‘Melo didn’t play particularly well, either. They only scored 10 and 12 points respectively. The player of the game happened to be Steven Adams, who dropped 27 on Indiana.
Peep what he said about the boos in the city tonight, though.
