Paul Pierce Calls L.A. Clippers A “Super Team”

For weeks and even years now, the NBA has had the storyline of “Super Teams.” From the Miami Heat Big 3 joining forces and taking over South Beach to Kevin Durant joining the Golden State Warriors this past offseason. Everyone loves to talk (or hate on) the “Super Team.”

But one person we last figured we’d hear talk about this kind of stuff is Paul Pierce. We know it’s his last year and all. Apparently, he thinks he’s currently on a super team.

His reasoning? Because of All-Stars Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, as well as 6th Man of the Year Jamal Crawford and one of the best 3-point shooters in the league in J.J. Reddick.

We’re sure this is going to bring a world of hate towards the other team in Los Angeles leading up to the season, but do you agree that the Clippers have a “Super Team?” Will they even contend this year in the Western Conference against the San Antonio Spurs or Dub Nation? Will they ever get past the second round of the playoffs?
