It Took Russell Westbrook 17 Minutes to Get Triple Double Against Lakers

We all know how much of a beast Russell Westbrook is but when he notch himself a triple double in less than 20 minutes of play in an NBA game, that’s next level.

Tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers, Russ did exactly that, getting his 28th triple double of the season in only 17 minutes of play. That’s right, it took Westbrook less than two quarters to get himself the stat line. He actually finished the game with 17 points, 18 assists and 18 rebounds. Just wrap your head around those numbers. Not a great night shooting, but the rest is monster.

Tonight was the first game we saw new teammates Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott on the floor for the Oklahoma City Thunder as well. And Gibson looked good out there.

He and Russ (their energy and passion) might be a real problem down the stretch.
