With his album out now, Common is taking viewers to some of what inspired Black America Again with this short film directed by Bradford Young.
Titled after the project, the 21-minute video takes you through some of the neighborhoods in the Windy City that are impacted every day. From the faces and people that live there, the clip follows a woman as she strolls through the streets and shows others who are from the area. Whether in the daytime or nighttime, Common interacts with some of those on ground zero, spitting some of the lyrics from “Black America Again.”
