Details of Mac Miller‘s of death are coming to light, as the Drug Enforcement Agency has arrested Cameron James Pettit on Wednesday for selling counterfeit opioid pills two days before Mac’s overdose. According to the DEA affidavit, Miller asked for 30 mg oxycodone pills, cocaine, and Xanax but ended up getting counterfeit oxy pills that were laced with fentanyl.
Two days later, Mac was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles and an autopsy found him to have died accidentally from a combination of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl.
Pettit was arrested and taken into custody, charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance. He was scheduled to appear in court today.

UPDATE: Pettit faces 20 years in prison if convicted of the charges. People also reports he was messaging people on Instagram following the death of Mac saying he wasn’t feeling good and he would most likely “die in jail.”
