People are holding down Nipsey Hussle after his death because only a week after his tragic passing outside of his Marathon Clothing store, his latest album Victory Lap has leaped to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 200 charts.
Thanks to the streaming equivalent of 66,000 album units from fans listening this week, VL re-entered the chart over a year after its release.
For those in the Los Angeles area, Nip’s public memorial service will be held at the STAPLES Center this Thursday. The last time the 21,000 seat venue was held for an event like this was Michael Jackson back in 2009.
