Three Men Have Now Been Indicted in Connection to the Death of Mac Miller

Police have been hard at work to uncover details on how Mac Miller accidentally overdosed in September 2018 and more details have been released.

Prosecutors in California have now charged three men, Cameron James Pettit, Ryan Reavis and Stephen Walter, with the distribution of drugs that resulted in the death of Mac. Each man was charged at the time they were arrested but their indictment is a bit different: conspiracy count and a narcotics distribution charge.

Both Pettit and Reavis are being charged for distributing narcotics, which resulted in the death of Miller. Walter is also being charged with possession of a firearm as a felon.

Prosecutors believe the three allegedly sold Mac counterfeit oxycodone with fentanyl.

The indictment claims days before Miller overdosed (on September 4), Pettit was asked for Percocet and then texted Walter for the pills. A runner (allegedly Reavis) was sent to deliver the drugs. Pettit sold the pills to Mac on September 5, as well as cocaine and Xanax.

Documents also claim even after the death of Mac, the three continued pushing drugs.

A text message from Reavis to an undisclosed conspirator read, “People have been dying from fake blues left and right, you better believe law enforcement is using informants and undercover to buy them on the street [so] they can start putting ppl in prison for life for selling fake pills.”
