Kyrie Irving Reveals He’s Re-Signing with Boston

Plan-B. .

Over the summer, Kyrie Irving found out he was on the trading block, as Danny Ainge tried to land Kawhi Leonard from the San Antonio Spurs – causing major internal friction. Initially, Kyrie was planning ready to pair up with Jimmy Butler on the New York Knicks next summer.

However, reports surfaced earlier this week, that Kevin Durant is welcoming the idea of playing at the Garden, as Golden State will have to decide who gets super-max deals.

Well, during a pre-season event for season-ticket holders, Kyrie sat courtside with Gordon Hayward and revealed to the world that he’s planning to re-sign with the team this summer.

Irving, who’s 26, is entering the final season of his 5-year deal, which we’re assuming the team will likely give him more than the $21 million salary he’s been getting.

Considering the team still has Jayson Tatum on a rookie contract until the summer of 2021, when he can opt-out and test the market; we’re curious who they’ll look to at center in free agency. Let us know in the comments if you think Kyrie should stay in Boston or leave for another city.
