Lonzo Ball To Undergo Arthroscopic Knee Surgery

After news leaked of Lonzo Ball having a torn meniscus a few weeks ago, it seems like it will need more attention than just headlines. The Los Angeles Lakers announced today that ‘Zo would undergo arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to fix that left knee.

GM Rob Pelinka told the media that Ball should be 100% ready for training camp.

Up until now, Lonzo had been weighing his options on how to treat the injury, from staying off the knee for a month after the season to platelet-rich plasma injection treatment. Do remember, this is the same knee that gave him problems during the course of last year, causing him to miss a significant amount of games.

With the Lakers adding Rajon Rondo to the roster, it’ll be interesting to see how healthy Ball comes back from surgery and if a point guard battle actually happens.
