Amidst the drama in Cleveland between the Cavaliers, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, many people are getting caught in the cross fire. Reports from every camp and source have been surfacing contradicting or supporting each side and nobody knows what the fuck is going on at the core.
With speculation surrounding this Cavs turmoil, here are some of the things that have come out:
– Chauncey Billups has said that he knew something was going down with Kyrie, which is why he didn’t take the job in Cleveland when he had the chance.
– LeBron has been reported as saying that he would ‘beat Kyrie’s ass’ if they say each other.
– Irving thinks James’ camp leaked the information about his trade talks with Dan Gilbert and the Cleveland front office because he was salty about the situation.
– King James has refuted multiple reports about any of this.
– Kyrie no longer follows LeBron on Instagram.
One person not backing down from anything that he’s said about the situation is Stephen A. Smith, who is standing by his claims about LeBron being so frustrated that he’d be tempted to beat Kyrie down if they saw each other right now. He says his sources are so connected that he’s telling the truth and will go heads up with LeBron if necessary. He talked to over 30 sources in their respective camps over the past weekend. THIRTY! That’s a whole lot of chatter.
